What time does MultiVersus go live? Digital release time in your region
After nearly a year on the sidelines, MultiVersus is back.
But exactly when do the MultiVersus servers go live? Thankfully Warner Bros and developer Player First Games have given the answer.
Some players may already have MultiVersus installed from the last time the game was active in its Open Beta form, but it hasn’t been possible to play it since the middle of 2023 when the servers were turned off.
In this article, we’ll tell you when MultiVersus goes online again.
MultiVersus – release date and time
MultiVersus will be released on Tuesday, May 28.
Because it’s a live service game, it will be available at the same time everywhere. The game will go live at the following time on consoles:
- Pacific Time – 4.00 am
- Eastern Time – 7.00 am
- UK time – 12.00pm (noon)
It will then go live at the following time on PC:
- Pacific Time – 10.00 am
- Eastern Time – 1.00 pm
- UK time – 5.00 pm
At this point, MultiVersus will return to each platform’s digital store, making it available to download for those who never owned it last time. If you already had the game downloaded, you’ll be able to download the update at this time.
This doesn’t mean you’ll be able to start right away, however. In order to make sure there are no server or connection issues, Player First Games says it will be gradually bringing players into the game in waves to “slowly fill up servers”.
Whether this means it’ll be adding players by region, or by a first-come first-serve basis, isn’t quite clear yet, but Player First says it’ll update players on the official X account for MultiVersus.
While you’re waiting, maybe you should brush up on how to play as each of the game’s new characters.
We’ve got guides up for Jason Voorhees and Banana Guard, with a guide for the Joker coming up soon. We’ve also got other guides for every other existing character in the game.
