Top Spin 2K25 will be released next month, first players and venues confirmed


2K has given the first full details on Top Spin 2K25, including the game’s release date.

The publisher announced the Top Spin revival in January, with a teaser trailer simply saying the game was “coming soon”.

Now it’s been confirmed that Top Spin 2K25 will be released on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One and PC via Steam on April 26.

The game will feature 48 unique courts – this will include all four Grand Slam tournaments and their respective venues, as well as 11 other real-life venues.

Licensed players confirmed so far include current stars such as Emma Raducanu, Coco Gauff, Frances Tiafoe, Iga Świątek and Carlos Alcaraz, as well as retired legends like Serena Williams, Roger Federer, Andre Agassi, John McEnroe and Steffi Graf.

Williams and Federer are the cover stars of the game’s Standard and Grand Slam Editions, while Alcaraz, Iga Świątek and Tiafoe will be on the cover of the Deluxe Edition.

The game will be released in four separate versions:

  • Standard Edition – £59.99 on PS4, Xbox One and PC, £64.99 on PS5 and Xbox Series X)
  • Standard Cross-Gen Digital Edition – £64.99 on PlayStation and Xbox consoles
  • Deluxe Edition – £84.99 on all formats. Contains:
    • Under the Lights Pack featuring alternate outfits for Serena Williams and Roger Federer, Wilson Nightfall Bundle and Night-Time Majors
    • New Wave Pack featuring alternate outfits for Carlos Alcaraz, Iga Świątek, and Francis Tiafoe plus a collection of additional apparel
    • Rookie Rise Pack which features a MyPlayer Boost and 1700 VC
    • Early access for play from April 23
  • Grand Slam Edition – £109.99 on all formats. Contains:
    • All content from the Deluxe Edition
    • Grand Slam Champions Pack, which features a special Championship Racket and Champion Serve
    • All Access Pass, which includes six post-launch Premium Centre Court Pass Seasons
    • Eight bonus cosmetic items

The last entry in the Top Spin series was Top Spin 4, which was released in 2011 for PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii.

Top Spin 4 was developed by 2K Czech, which was merged into Mafia 3 and Mafia Definitive Edition studio Hangar 13 in 2017.

Hanger 13 will be handling development of Top Spin 2K25.
