The Epic Games Store will reportedly offer 16 free AAA games over the next month

The Epic Games Store is reportedly set to offer users 16 free AAA games over the next month.

This week’s free Epic Games Store title wasn’t revealed as usual last week, with Epic instead announcing plans to offer a “mystery game.”

According to ever-reliable dataminer billbil-kun, today’s free game will launch alongside the Epic Games Store Mega Sale.

During the four-week promotion, which is expected to run from May 16 to June 13, Epic will give away four triple-A games each week, it’s claimed.

According to billbil-kun, the identity of the first title is Dragon Age Inquisition – Game of the Year Edition.

Replacing current freebie Circus Electrique, Dragon Age: Inquisition will be free to claim from Epic’s PC marketplace beginning today at 11am ET / 4pm GMT.

Epic gave away 86 free titles in 2023 (down from 99 in 2022). These games had a combined worth of $2,055, and users claimed almost 586 million free titles (down from 700 million in 2022).

BioWare has said it’s planning to fully reveal Dragon Age: Dreadwolf this summer.

Publisher EA recently confirmed plans to release two unannounced titles during its current fiscal year ending in March 2025, and one of them is reportedly Dragon Age: Dreadwolf.
