Rocksteady says Suicide Squad alpha testers can now share their impressions

Rocksteady Studios has told Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League alpha test participants they’re now free to share their impressions of the game.

An alpha test held late last year enabled players to sample an early section of the game, but players were required to sign an NDA restricting them from discussing what they played publicly.

While participants still can’t share imagery or videos from the test, they’re now being encouraged to discuss their experiences with the game ahead of its release next month.

The partial lifting of the NDA follows the recent publication of a round of Suicide Squad previews , including VGC’s, which said it doesn’t appear set to break new ground for the superhero genre in the same way Rocksteady’s Arkham series did.

“Now that there is more news out on the game and players are asking, we’re no longer enforcing a portion of the NDA and we’re allowing players to talk about their experience from the Closed Alpha Test,” Rocksteady said.

“We’ve heard the community requests and want to give players an opportunity to discuss what it’s like to explore Metropolis as Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Captain Boomerang, and King Shark.”

Following several delays, the Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League release date is February 2, 2024, for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC via Steam.

At launch the game will require an online connection to play, but following a fan backlash, Rocksteady recently confirmed plans to introduce an offline mode post-release.
