Prices for the 30th Anniversary PS5 Digital and DualSense controller have reportedly been revealed

Prices for part of Sony‘s upcoming 30th Anniversary collection of PS5 consoles and accessories have been published by an insider.

Deallabs user billbil-kun, who has a lengthy track record of revealing unannounced information on PlayStation products, claims to know the price of the PS5 Digital Edition and the DualSense controller from the upcoming PS1-themed range.

According to the leaker, the PlayStation 5 Digital Edition will cost $499.99, which is $50 more than a typical Digital Edition PS5.

For that extra money players get a console coloured like the original PlayStation, a matching DualSense, a console cover for the Disc Drive (which is still sold separately), a vertical stand, a poster (1 of 30 possible designs), an “original PlayStation-style cable connector housing”, four PlayStation Shapes cable ties, a sticker and a paperclip.

While they don’t have the UK or EU prices for the console yet, they estimate that $499.99 will translate to around £449.99 / €519.99.

Billbil-kun also says the DualSense controller will sell separately for $79.99, which is the same price as the limited edition Astro Bot DualSense controller. This would translate to £69.99 / €79.99.

Prices have yet to be revealed for the 30th Anniversary edition PS5 Pro, which will be strictly limited to 12,300 units.

The Pro will also be coloured grey like the original PlayStation and will contain all the extras included with the PS5 Digital Edition, as well as a DualSense Edge controller and a DualSense Charging Station.

Pre-orders for the 30th Anniversary Collection (which also includes a PS1-themed PlayStatin Portal) will start on September 26, and the collection will be released on November 21.

In regions where PlayStation Direct is available, players with a PlayStation Network account will be able to pre-order the PS5 Pro, Portal and DualSense Edge from there. In regions where it isn’t, they can pre-order from participating retailers.

The PS5 Digital Edition and DualSense Wireless Controller will be available on both PlayStation Direct and participating retailers.
