Pokemon TCG Pocket Fire Pokemon Mass Outbreak event is available now

The Fire Pokemon Mass Outbreak event has started in Pokemon TCG Pocket.

The event, which runs from now until November 27, allows players a way to collect fire-type Pokemon via Wonder Picks, including Arcanine EX.

It’s expected that a grass-type event starring Venausaur will begin following this event, with this Mass Outbreak serving as a way for players to collect fire-type cards ahead of it.

The following cards are available in the bonus pick section (via PokeBeach).

• Charmander
• Vulpix
• Growlithe
• Ponyta
• Magmar
• Heatmor
• Charmeleon
• Ninetales
• Rapidash
• Blaine
• 1x Shop Ticket
• 1x Pack Hourglass
• 1x Wonder Hourglass

The following cards are available in the Rare Pick section:

• Arcanine EX
• Charizard
• Moltres
• Ninetales
• Rapidash
• Charmeleon
• Blaine

The event also introduces several new missions, which are largely tied to Wonder Picks. Completing these missions will reward Wonder Hourglasses and Shop Tickets.

Pokemon TCG Pocket has reportedly passed $120 million dollars in earnings since its full release. 

Earlier this month, The Pokemon Company released the first roadmap for the mobile game and detailed some of the updates that will be coming soon.

“To begin with, we plan to add new booster packs by the end of the year,” it wrote on social media. “In addition, we are aiming to add a feature that allows certain cards to be traded starting in January, 2025. We are planning to gradually expand the selection of cards that are able to be traded.”

It added: “Also, we have other new features in development outside of the trade feature introduced here. We plan to announce more details about the update as the dates for the addition of these features are finalized, so please look forward to it.”
