The marquee feature on the updated headset is the inclusion of the advanced surround-sound technology Dolby Atmos. Additionally, the battery life has been improved and offers up to 20 hours of play from a full charge–up from the 15 hours of the original model–the microphone has been upgraded with enhanced auto-mute and voice isolation for clearer communication, and the headset has Bluetooth 5.3 functionality.

Considering how finicky third-party wireless headsets can be on Xbox Series X|S, having a headset that works with minimal fuss and is built for full Xbox support is worth considering when you make your next purchase. These will also work on Xbox One and PC, so you’re getting multi-platform use from it as well.
