New 960-Page DC Versus Marvel Comics Omnibus Is Already Over $40 Off At Amazon
If you miss the days when DC and Marvel superheroes regularly crossed over into each other’s universes, you’ll be happy to learn those epic clashes have returned thanks to a massive new collection. DC Versus Marvel Omnibus is a 960-page hardcover that just released on October 29, but you can already get a substantial discount at Amazon. Normally $150, you can snag a copy of this weighty tome for $107. This deal is also available at Walmart. The omnibus contains over a dozen comic arcs, including Superman vs. The Amazing Spider-Man, Batman/Captain America, Spider-Man and Batman, and more.
DC Versus Marvel Omnibus was supposed to release alongside another crossover collection dubbed DC Versus Marvel: The Amalgam Age Omnibus. Unfortunately, The Amalgam Age has been delayed to an unspecified date. It’s no longer available to preorder at Amazon, but Walmart is still taking preorders for the 1,024-page hardcover companion for $135 (was $150).

DC Versus Marvel: The Amalgam Age Omnibus (Hardcover)
$135 ($150) | Publication Date: TBA
Meanwhile, DC Versus Marvel: The Amalgam Age Omnibus is a wild collection of one-shots that, despite being labeled a “companion” for the other omnibus, is actually even bigger at 1,024 pages. These one-shots essentially threw a character from each publisher into a blender and fused them together, resulting in creations like Dark Claw (Batman and Wolverine), Iron Lantern (Iron Man and Green Lantern), and Lobo the Duck (Lobo and Howard the Duck, no really).
These stories have been out of print for decades and the original one-shots had some hefty price tags attached to them at reseller markets. Even better, this omnibus edition includes all four issues of the original Marvel vs. DC mini-series, which featured 11 colossal battles where the outcomes were decided by fan votes.
With Walmart’s preorder price guarantee, you’ll only pay the lowest price offered from the time you order and release. We’ll update this article when DC announces a new release date.
