Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 release date brought forward by one week

The Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 release date has been brought forward by one week.

Last August, developer Warhorse Studios delayed the game from this year to February 11, 2025

But in an update delivered on Wednesday, the developer said the game will now be released on February 4.

“KCD2 is also gold now,” Warhorse global PR manager Tobias Stolz-Zwilling said in a video update, which is viewable below. “What does that mean? Well, it means that the game is more or less finished, we are right now in the last stretches of optimisations and of bug fixing.”

Warhorse will announce PC and console specs on Thursday, when it will also release a new story trailer for the game.

Stolz-Zwilling also confirmed that the title will be PS5 Pro Enhanced, and offer Quality and Performance modes on Xbox Series X/S and PS5.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is an open-world action RPG set during a civil war in 15th Century Bohemia.

Having played the game for over three hours last summer, VGC said it felt like “a refined version of the cult hit original”.
