Grandia HD Collection is finally coming to Xbox and PlayStation consoles

Grandia HD Collection will finally be released for Xbox and PlayStation consoles this month.

Featuring remasters of Game Arts’ classic RPGs Grandia and Grandia 2, which were originally released in 1997 and 2000 respectively, the collection will hit Xbox One and PS4 on March 26.

It will be playable on Xbox Series X/S and PS5 via backwards compatibility.

Limited Run Games will also be releasing physical editions of the collection, which will be available to pre-order starting on March 15.

Grandia follows a young hero named Justin and his companions as they battle the evil Garlyle forces to uncover the secrets of an ancient civilisation.

Its sequel follows Ryudo, a mercenary entrusted with the protection of the acolyte Elena in an age-old battle between forces of light and darkness.

The remasters are available to purchase separately on Steam, while the collection was released for Nintendo Switch in 2019.

Grandia was added to the PlayStation Plus Classics library in November 2023.
