Godzilla Minus One’s 4K Limited Edition Looks Stunning, And You Can Preorder It Now

Godzilla Minus One quickly earned rave reviews from both fans and critics alike when it released in theaters late last year. The kaiju film follows a group of veterans attempting to prevent their war-ravaged home from being further destroyed by Godzilla–and it earned the Oscar for Best Visual Effects due to its stunning action sequences. The film is already available to buy or rent in color or black-and-white on Prime Video and streaming on Netflix, but fans can now preorder the upcoming physical release. Collectors will definitely want to check out the gorgeous Godzilla Minus One 4K Limited Edition, which is up for preorder at Walmart and Amazon.

As mentioned, you can already pick up digital versions of Godzilla Minus One on Prime Video ($15 to buy, $6 to rent). While the standard, color-version is great, the black-and-white special edition is definitely worth a watch. Sadly, the listings for the Blu-rays don’t mention the black-and-white version, so you may still want to check out the black-and-white version even if you preorder the physical release.

If you’re eager to add some Godzilla films to your collection while we wait to learn about a release date for Minus One, there are plenty of other great options on sale right now. The recently released Godzilla/Kong Monsterverse 5-Film 4K Collector’s Edition is worth grabbing if you want to watch the major contemporary releases in the Godzilla and Kong franchises in 4K. This $100 box set comes with Godzilla (2014), Kong: Skull Island, Godzilla: King of the Monsters, Godzilla vs. Kong, and Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire, which released earlier this year. You also get heaps of bonus features like discussions with the directors and behind-the-scenes content from each movie.
