Get The Atari Game Station Pro For Up To 50% Off At Amazon
If you have nostalgia for the Atari era, Amazon has a couple of nice deals on the My Arcade Atari Game Station Pro. This plug-and-play console launched last October for $100. Right now, you can get the Game Station Pro for as low as $50. The mini-console comes with two wireless joysticks and includes over 200 Atari games, including officially licensed classics like Asteroids, Centipede, Millipede, Breakout, Missile Command, and plenty more. The Atari Game Station Pro released on October 17 at a budget-friendly price of $100.
Starting at $50 (was $100)
Amazon has brand-new editions available for $77, down from $100, but there are two other options. You can get a refurbished Atari Game Station Pro in “Excellent” condition for $50 via Amazon’s Renewed program. Alternatively, you can get an “open box” model at StackCommerce for $70.
The game library pulls from Atari 2600, 5200, 7800, and select arcade game eras, as well as some modern-day touches like game save options. The console can easily connect to a display via an HDMI cable and is powered by USB cable. To add a modern touch, My Arcade utilized RGB lighting effects on both controllers and the console itself.
You can set this up at home on TV or in your office using your PC monitor and not have to worry about a mess of cables. As for the wireless joysticks, these operate on a 2.4GHz frequency and are inspired by the original Atari controllers. They even have paddles for games like games like Breakout and Warlords, and they’re powered by two AA batteries each.
The Atari Game Station Pro isn’t the only recently released Atari product to consider. The Atari 2600+, which plays original Atari cartridges as well as new releases, launched last November. The $130 official Atari console is geared more toward enthusiasts who have and want to expand their physical library of Atari cartridges. You can preorder the Atari 2600+, accessories, and new games from the buttons below.
