Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth – Piano Sheet Music Locations
This new rhythm mini-game in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth comes with a few hidden collectibles. If you want to play some of your favorite themes from the soundtrack, you’ll need to find them first. Here’s where to find all piano sheet music in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth.
Piano sheet music locations
This side quest begins when you meet a musician named Dorian in the Junon region. He wants to hear you perform various pieces at a high level, and he’ll provide worthwhile materia rewards for your A-Rank performances. Dorian can always be found next to a piano, wherever they appear, and each piano holds a new piece of sheet music. Sit down at each new piano you find to obtain new pieces to perform. Here are all eight piano sheet music pieces and how to get them:
Piece Name | How to Get | A-Rank Prize |
---|---|---|
On Our Way | Sit at the piano inside the tavern at Crow’s Nest on the east side of the Grasslands region. | HP Up Materia |
Tifa’s Theme | Sit at the piano inside the City Center in Costa del Sol. You’ll play the piano here as part of the quest to find swimsuit outfits for Tifa and Aerith. | MP Up Materia |
Barret’s Theme | Sit at the piano in North Corel inside the building just west of Chadley. | Warding Materia |
Cinco de Chocobo | Sit at the piano in the middle of Gongaga Village, next to the Queen’s Blood player. | Steadfast Block Materia |
Two Legs? Nothin’ To It | Sit at the piano on the east side of the Water Grotto in Cosmo Canyon, next to the village inn. | Disempowerment Materia |
Aerith’s Theme | Sit at the piano in Tifa’s room in Nibelheim at the end of the My White-Haired Angel side quest in Chapter 11. | Binding Materia |
Let the Battles Begin! | Achieve an A-Rank or higher on the first six sheet music pieces, then speak to Dorian. You’ll also receive 4-Star Healing Materia and the option to play piano as Aerith or Yuffie. | None |
One-Winged Angel | Obtain all collectibles for Johnny’s collectible display in Costa del Sol. | None |
How to get an A-Rank score
This is a deceptively tricky mini-game, and these pieces of sheet music get more and more difficult to play as you progress. We have a few tips that ought to help those aiming for the A-Rank prizes:
- Adjust the note speed setting before selecting a piece to play. You can still receive an A-Rank at the slowest note speed, so don’t worry about taking your time.
- Press incoming notes as late as possible. Notes appear from the center of the circular groups of keys and move outward. Press the corresponding key when the note reaches the very edge of the circle to earn a “Great” rating for your input.
- Don’t be afraid to miss notes. You can miss quite a few notes as long as the majority of your inputs are Great. Sometimes, it’s better to miss a few notes in a difficult section to reset yourself and regain focus for the rest of the song.
- You can hit adjacent keys, even when they aren’t highlighted. You won’t lose points by accidentally hitting the keys that are next to the ones you’re aiming for–it’s okay to be a bit imprecise with the analog sticks.
That’s everything you need to know about how to get all sheet music in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth. Once you finish up this optional music quest, you’ll be able to play all of these pieces at any piano as Cloud, Tifa, Aerith, or Yuffie.
