December’s PlayStation Plus Game Catalog and Classics titles revealed

Sony has announced December 2024’s PlayStation Plus Game Catalog and Classics titles.

Unlike December’s PlayStation Plus Essential games, which are available for all subscribers to claim, Game Catalog’s downloadable PS4 and PS5 titles are only available for Extra and Premium tier members.

This month’s additions (which are listed in full below) include Sonic Frontiers, Forspoken and Rabbids: Party of Legends.

PlayStation Plus Premium also offers a selection of PS1, PS2 and PSP games to download, and PS3 games via cloud streaming.

December’s additions to the Classics Catalog were revealed earlier this month and are already available to claim. They are PS2 games Sly 2: Band of Thieves, Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves, and Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy,

All of the titles listed below will be available beginning on December 17.

This month’s PlayStation Plus Essential games are It Takes Two (PS4, PS5), Aliens: Dark Descent (PS4, PS5) and Temtem (PS5).

Alone in the Dark 2 is seemingly headed to the PlayStation Plus Classics Catalog, after PS Store listings for the game on PS4 and PS5 were spotted by a website which tracks updates on the marketplace’s backend.
