Arkane founder says Prey and Dishonored fans ‘will be happy’ with his new game

Arkane founder Raphael Colantonio thinks fans of Dishonored and Prey will be pleased with the next game from his current studio.

Following 18 years at Arkane, during which he served as president and co-creative director, Colantonio announced in 2019 that he’d formed a new outfit called WolfEye Studios.

The studio’s debut title, Weird West, was released in 2022. The dark fantasy reimagining of the Wild West is a top-down action RPG and immersive sim that earned scores of 76 (PC), 73 (PS4) and 81 (Xbox One) on review aggregation site Metacritic.

Colantonio began teasing WolfEye’s next game in March, when it was described as a first-person “retro sci-fi RPG”.

And on Tuesday, he said players will learn a bit more about the title imminently.

“We’ll reveal a bit more about our next game in a few days… Fans of the previous 1st person games I was involved with (Dishonored and Prey) will be happy,” WolfEye’s president and creative director wrote on X.

Colantonio co-founded WolfEye with CEO Julien Roby, a former executive producer at Arkane, who spent 11 years at the studio before working as a producer on Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel and Mafia 3 at 2K.
