Target offering 30% off Xbox Game Pass prices ahead of Hellblade 2’s release

Target is offering 30% discounts on Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscriptions ahead of the release of Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2.

At the time of publishing, the US retailer is offering a one-month Game Pass Ultimate subscription for $11.89 (full price $16.99) and a three-month membership for $34.99 (full price $49.99).

The discounts are being offered to coincide with the release of the latest Xbox Game Studios title, Hellblade 2.

Like other upcoming first-party games including Avowed, Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 and Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, Ninja Theory’s sequel will be available for Game Pass subscribers at launch.

Having revealed Hellblade 2 alongside its latest console in 2019, the game will be released for Xbox Series X/S and PC on May 21.

Microsoft has today released the launch trailer for Hellblade 2, which is viewable below.

It was recently claimed that this year’s Call of Duty title will be included in Game Pass at release.

If correct, it would mark the first time a Call of Duty game has been included in such a service at launch, and would mean for players with access to Xbox platforms, the entry cost for the game could be as little as $11.
