Ghost of Tsushima is PlayStation’s fourth biggest Steam launch

Ghost of Tsushima is publisher PlayStation’s fourth biggest Steam launch in terms of concurrent players.

According to figures from SteamDB, the game has attracted a peak of 59,244 concurrent players since its release on Thursday.

That total has only been bettered by three Sony published games, two of which were developed by its internal studios.

Helldivers 2, which is developed by third-party studio Arrowhead, leads the way with 458,709 concurrent players, ahead of God of War with 73,529 and Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered with 66,436.

Ghost of Tsushima’s peak player count, which could yet rise going into the weekend, is already ahead of those set by titles including Horizon Zero Dawn, Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition and The Last of Us Part I.
