December’s PlayStation Plus Essential and Classic games announced

Sony Interactive Entertainment has revealed December 2024’s PlayStation Plus Essential games.

It has also announced three upcoming additions to the Classics Catalog, which is available to PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers.

December’s Plus Essential games are It Takes Two (PS4, PS5), Aliens: Dark Descent (PS4, PS5) and Temtem (PS5).

They’ll be available to all PlayStation Plus members from December 3 until January 6.

November’s PlayStation Plus Essential games, which are available until December 2, are Hot Wheels Unleashed 2 – Turbocharged (PS4, PS5), Ghostwire: Tokyo (PS5) and Death Note Killer Within (PS4, PS5).

PlayStation Plus Premium also offers a range of PS1, PS2 and PSP games to download, and PS3 games via cloud streaming.

December’s additions to the Classics Catalog will include PS2 games Sly 2: Band of Thieves, Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves, and Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy. They will be available from December 10.

This month’s new Classics Catalog titles were Synapse, Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain, Blood Omen 2, Resistance: Fall of Man and Resistance 2.

A Warhammer 40K Space Marine 2 game trial will also be available to PlayStation Plus Premium members beginning on December 3.
