Astro Bot PS5 Controller Preorders Restocked At Walmart


Astro’s Playroom is almost here, and that also means the special-edition Astro Bot PS5 controller will be in your hands soon, too–if you can find one, that is. Since going up for preorder on August 9, Astro Bot’s Limited-Edition DualSense Controller has been hard to find. Preorders sold out very quickly that day, though restocks have been popping over the past week, and it’s currently available to preorder at Walmart. Astro Bot and its special-edition controller release on September 6.

Antonline had an Astro Bot bundle featuring the controller and a physical copy of the game for a $7 discount earlier this week, but this has sold out once again.

Preorders for the Astro Bot PS5 controller are sold out at all major retailers except for Walmart. That said, we recommend checking each retailer listing, as restocks have been dropping without notice at: Best Buy, Walmart, Amazon, Target, GameStop, Antonline, and PlayStation Direct.

While it may boast a striking new design, this is your standard DualSense. That means you won’t get back buttons or customizable components as you would on the DualSense Edge, but it has all of the hallmarks that make the DualSense such a cool controller: haptic feedback, adaptive triggers, and a built-in microphone.

Preorders for the controller don’t open until August 9, but preorders for the Astro Bot game are now available. You’ll get some cool swag for reserving a copy ahead of time, including a bunch of in-game goodies and an adorable physical poster for your game room.

The Astro Bot Limited Edition DualSense follows hot on the heels of the Concord Limited Edition DualSense. Based on the shooter of the same name, it gets you a black gamepad accented with red and blue stripes throughout the entire front faceplate. Like the upcoming Astro Bot controller, this one will only be available for a limited time.
